International
Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) has signed a loan agreement with Rabobank
of Netherlands.
The credit line will be utilized for the establishment of a
milk processing factory in the region of Sheki by Sheki Agro
Industries LLC.
IBA officials think that this is on the basis of the favorable
policy aimed at efficiently financing enterprises operating
in non-oil sector and creating new jobs in regions. |

| Few
days ago, in the head office of the International Bank of Azerbaijan,
there were credit contracts signed between IBA and Dutch Rabobank.
In accordance with terms of agreement, credit funds will be
used for the construction of diary factory in Sheki by “Sheki
Agro Industries” company. Equipment for the facility will
be supplied by Holland companies. This contract will provide
cheap funding to non-petroleum sector entrepreneurs in region
and will provide the potential for creation of new jobs. |

| Milk
processing factory to be build in Shaki. |
Under
the terms of loan agreement signed between the International
Bank of Azerbaijan /IBA/ and Netherlands's Robobank, Shaki Agro
Industry Ltd has started building a milk processing factory
in Orta Zeyzid village of Shaki region. The factory is scheduled
to come on stream in the first half of 2007. 600 Holstein cow
head will be delivered from Holland to the milk processing plant.
Factory will process 15 thousand liters of milk and produce
1500 kg of cheese per day. Over 200 permanent jobs are scheduled
to open here.
