| "Shaki Agro
Industries" LLC carries out the investment project, establishing
European style modern livestock complex, Dutch cheese plant
and feed mill in Shaki region of Azerbaijan Republic. |
- For the construction of the complex, which will be unique
in Azerbaijan and also in Caucasia, approximately 70 hectares
of land was purchased in Orta Zeyzid village of Shaki Region
(in the territory of former Fattening Union). 300 hectars
(3 km2) of arable land in Shaki Region is being cultivated
by Shaki Agro for the production of feed crops.
- 600 Holstein Friesian cows will be imported from Netherlands
after the construction of the complex. Modern stables will
be constructed for housing of the milking cows and young
stock.
- Initial milk production capacity of the complex will be
15.000 liter/day.
- Installation of the modern equipment at the new cheese
plant will give a chance to produce Dutch type hard cheese
with the capacity of 1.500 kg/day.
- Modern feed mill will fully supply the concentrated feed
needs of the complex and the excess concentrated feed production
will be marketed in Azerbaijan Republic.
- Approximately 200 employees will work in different position
such as agronomist, zootechnician, mechanic, veterinary,
operator and other agricultural specialists in the complex.
